Issue Cause Solution
Connection refused Resource not running Start the resource and wait for Running status
Connection timeout IP not allowed Check resource firewall/network settings
Permission denied Wrong credentials Verify username/password from resource details
RDP can’t connect Port blocked Ensure port 3389 is open; check firewall settings
SSH host key changed Resource recreated Remove old key with ssh-keygen -R <resource-ip>

Cannot Connect from a New Location

Your network may be blocking the connection, or the resource’s firewall may not allow your IP.

  1. Check the resource’s network/firewall settings in Loome or Azure portal
  2. Ensure your IP is allowed
  3. Try from a different network if possible
  4. Contact support if the issue persists
